Pay-Per-View — content sold individually to subscribers in addition to (or instead of) the base subscription fee. On creator platforms this typically takes the form of locked posts unlocked by individual purchases; on subscription sites the historical analog was the pay-per-scene catalog. PPV revenue is often a larger share of creator-platform income than the base subscription itself.
