§2257

Section 2257 of US Title 18 — the federal record-keeping requirement obliging producers of sexually-explicit visual content to maintain documentation of the age and identity of every depicted performer. Originated in the Child Protection and Obscenity Enforcement Act of 1988 and amended several times since. The foundational US compliance regime for adult content.
