pay-site

Subscription website hosting adult content directly for paying subscribers — the historical pre-tube-era and pre-creator-platform-era model that still operates alongside the newer rails. Studio-owned pay-sites carry the studio's back-catalog and most-current releases; the model has consolidated substantially since the tube-site emergence but remains a meaningful revenue layer for established studios.
