secondary producer
Under the §2257 framework, a person or entity that reproduces, reissues, or distributes adult content without direct production involvement. The secondary-producer scope was narrowed by 2010s constitutional litigation (Free Speech Coalition v. Holder line of cases) but not eliminated.
