C2PA
Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity. An industry consortium that publishes the C2PA technical specification, a cryptographically-signed manifest format for media files that allows downstream consumers to verify the chain of capture, edit, and distribution. Founded 2021; adoption concentrated in journalism, stock photography, and camera firmware.
