IndexNow protocol
Push-based URL-submission protocol jointly published by Microsoft Bing and Yandex (October 2021). Allows site operators to notify participating search engines of changed URLs in near-real-time, bypassing standard crawl-discovery latency. Adopted by Bing, Yandex, Naver, and Seznam; not used by Google. Site operators rotate across multiple keys to multiply effective quota across engines.
